About Heritage Green Condominium

438 units on 40.8 acres in 37 buildings plus a community building.

Originally constructed over a range of years from 1967-1969 as apartments.  It was converted to condominium ownership in 1986.  Since then all of the units have been sold and the developer no longer retains any ownership.

It’s sited on private roads – Farrwood Avenue, Fernview Avenue and Edgelawn Avenue with one building on 230 Chickering Road (aka Route 125).  Ever wonder why the roads are passable and wide open after a snow storm?  Because the Association takes care of the plowing in house, the roads usually look better than municipal roads.

230 Chickering Road is an electric heat building and has unique floor plans and even a sub-budget for their common area fees so this 1 building has a separate category.

The property consists of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom Garden Style units in 3 story buildings.  The one bedroom are 585-690 square foot range, the 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom are either 750 or 850 sq. ft., 2 bedroom 2 bathroom are 1,020 sq. ft. and the 3 bedroom / 2 bath are 1,300 sq. ft..

The 1st floor units have a slider opening to a patio area; the second and third floor units have balconies.  The units are heated by forced hot water by natural gas.  Even though they are common heating systems, they have individual unit thermostats to control the temperature.  The units have common heat, hot water, gas for cooking and water and sewer included in the common area fee.  That leaves the electric bill and cable / tv.  Fios and Comcast are both available in the community.

To be continued…….

Thinking about using another Realtor?  Buyers and Sellers have the advantage in price negotiations when their agent knows everything about a property and community.
